Looking Back

Now that the tour is over we look back at the miles and it almost seems easy. You quickly forget the hard parts of the journey.

But if the truth were to be told it really was not that easy. There were hundreds of hours of planning and mapping that was not easy.  And then the weekend side work to finance the adventure. Those were far from easy. Leaving you family at home is never easy that goes without saying. We are also lucky to have understanding family onboard. Thanks!......x10000

Not sleeping in your own bed not using your own shower and other personal items is not easy. And let us not forget the good home cooking we are badly missing.

Three guys living together in a cramped hotel room is not easy.

The wind the hills the heat they are not easy either.

If it was easy everyone would be doing it and they are not.

Everyone knows nothing good comes easy.  You have to work for it. Well this was “good” and we did work for it. We gained a lifetimes worth of bragging rights and met countless nice people along the way. We accomplished a goal.

Hopefully we entertained a few and possibly got someone else on a bike.
Was it worth all the work? You bet it was……..without a doubt!

Until next time…..see ya!
