Day 3
Chester NJ to Pottsville PA
The busy roads are slowly giving way to quite country roads. The nasty weather may have left us for a few days also, well at least until we reach tornado alley.
Like I have said before our day’s mileage is determined by
where we can find a place to sleep. With
the holiday weekend we were up until midnight scrambling to book places to
stay. It has left us with a short 50-60 mile travel day for Sunday.
Our bodies are starting to slowly show some signs of
punishment from the long days on the bike. Contact points like hands, rump and
feet take a little time to “smooth out”.
Joe spotted a new truck for his son Kyle (see photo) but
decided he may not like the color so did not leave a deposit…sorry Kyle.
After the holiday madness is over and we can get more than 5
hours sleep we will do better with posting
